Daniel Nester is the author most recently of Harsh Realm: My 1990s, a collection of poetry and prose poems coming soon from Indolent Books. He edits Pine Hills Review, the online literary journal of The College of Saint Rose, where he is also professor of English.

Karen Schoemer’s poems have appeared in Blazing Stadium, the Pine HIlls Review, Pendemic and La Presa. She is vocalist for the Albany band Sky Furrows, and half of the bass/vocal duo Jaded Azurites with Mike Watt. She contributed five songs to “The Long Year” by Ivan the Tolerable, due for release in November 2021 on Stolen Body Records in the UK, and has recorded a forthcoming album with punk legend Wreckless Eric. A graduate of the Writer’s Foundry MFA program at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, she lives in Columbia County, New York.
